Washington Raptors : ウィキペディア英語版 | Washington Raptors
The Washington Raptors were an American Basketball Association (2000-) franchise based in Chehalis, Washington and Fresno, California. In the past they played in the International Basketball League. The team played only one game during the 2008-09 ABA season on December 6, 2008, losing 123-109 to the San Francisco Rumble. The team's only win came by way of a forfeit victory when the Rumble failed to show for a scheduled game on December 5. The team received criticism in mid-December when there traveling glitches to Anchorage, Alaska to play a pair of scheduled games against the Alaska Dream, citing that the airline tickets purchased by the Dream were not purchesd in a timely manner and would not get the team's players home in time to return to work later that week. In mid-December, there was a merger between the Fresno Rebels and Washington Raptors teams, thus creating the Fresno-Washington Raptors Due to scheduling conflicts, the Raptors announced they would not play any more ABA games for the season effective January 5, 2009. However, the Raptors will return for 2009-10, returning to the Washington Raptors name and also owning ABA teams in the Washington cities of Everett, Seattle, Spokane, Vancouver, Walla Walla, and Yakima, as well as the Oregon city of Portland for the 2009-10 season. The group will add franchises in Idaho and Montana for 2010-11. ==Season By Season==
